What is a career?
The most general idea one has of career is to get trained in a particular field and then go through various jobs with increasing levels of responsibility earning remuneration in the process. This is the definition of the noun word "career". If you look up the verb definition , then it is defined as moving quickly in a dangerous way. It is the verb definition which one must consider before embarking on his/ her professional journey because if you choose a wrong career, then you are moving quickly towards a dangerous situation called "job dissatisfaction". There are many people who find themselves entrenched in such a situation because they did not receive proper guidance at the start of their career. Given that the average person will spend 100,000 hours at work over a lifetime, choosing the right career becomes the single most important decision in one's professional life.
What happens if you choose a wrong career?
The most common effect of choosing a wrong career is "job dissatisfaction". If a person has to work in a field which does not interest him/ her, then they will tend to lose interest at work and their performance will degrade thus resulting in little to no chance of career advancement which further adds to frustration. If a person is subjected to such conditions for a long term, then this could have a negative impact on their personal ife as well.
How does KAT help you choose the right career?
Over the years that the team at Kareers Abroad Consultants has been counselling students, we came across several students who were not sure which career path to take and had no clue which course to pursue. We saw many cases where the student would come in and apply for a course just becasue their friends had enrolled in the same course, a decision they regretted later when they graduated and started their professional career. By that time they had wasted their time and a considerable amount of money and were stuck in a career they were not interested in. To avoid this kind of situation and to help the students make the right career choice, we have created this test which assesses a student's aptitude and field of interest based on their response to the questions and recommends suitable courses. We sincerely hope that students use this test and benefit from it.

The KAT tool is designed to help both students and working professionals choose the perfect course which will launch them towards a successful career. The test consists of a series of questions which the student answers, then the responses are analyzed by an AI engine in the background which determines the student's aptitude and which field they are most interested in. Based on this determination, the tool will recommend courses and display relevant information which will enable the student to make an informed decision regarding which course to pursue. The student can tweak the results based on their criteria to find the perfect course for them.
Is it ever too late to change you career?
The answer to this question is subjective and depends on an individual's situation both professionally and personally. The correct question to ask is "Is it worth for me to continue in this career or take a risk and change it?" One must consider the short-term and long-term implications of this decision. Though it may seem intimidating at first, the long-term benefit of a career change far outweighs staying with a job you are not happy in.
How does the KAT tool work for you?
We have used our years of experience counselling students and applied a scientifc approach in designing the KAT tool. A successful career is built on the strong foundations of right aptitude for the job and high level of interest in the field of work. The KAT tool helps students identify these basic factors and guides them to apply for the ideal course in a college which suits the student's requirements. On graduating the students have a higher probability of landing their dream job which will lead to a satisfying and highly successful career.

The direct outcomes of a successful career are:
  • Being a star employee in your place of work
  • Job Satisfaction
  • Higher remuneration
  • Bright career prospects

The KAT tool acts as a guide which will assess your top strengths and align them with your interests. It will then recommend programs which are best suited for you, thus setting you on your career path to success.
